HOU Lien-Chin

HOU Lien-Chin (b. 1981, TW)received his MFA from National Tainan University of the Arts and has dedicated his life to stone sculpting.  As the only medalist for three consecutive years (2018-2020), HOU has been entitled to exempt annual preview of Taiwan Art Prize since 2021.

HOU is fascinated by the biological connections/natural mimics of all kinds of species and has been thrived to practice his thoughts into his stone sculpturing. HOU, in addition to his experiences in many international exhibitions, has especially active in many international sculpture camps such as Hokitika Camp in New Zealand, Julienne in France, Qingdao Sculpture Camp and so on.
