Same anticipation happens during pregnancy while there is already a lot of imagination and expectation before the child is born. Or before taking pills, our body prepares for the upcoming biological reaction. Can we gain the experience from gazing instead of viewing? Or is it a must?

LIU wants to discuss about the curatorship, creation and criticism and how they function in the art ecosystem. The exhibition features the artist’s childhood drawings that have been praised for their realistic appearance like photography, aligning with “My Father & Mother” a 10-year photography project representing LIU’s long trace upon his own family. A series of calligraphy notes have ben included as a practice of Re-presenting of this traditional art and a form of self-mimicry.
